By June, 2002 Bill was able to get on her back and walk her without assistance or battles.

January 2003...not the same little girl.  She would go on to garner two reserve championships in halter and ribbons in Country and Native Costume.

In 2002, I saw this little mare out in a muddy pasture. While she wasn't much to look at, I asked about her.  The owner said she was going to the killer because three trainers could not break her.  She kicked, reared and bit and was very dangerous.  I offered to have Bill try at no cost to her.  Bill had known and trainer her father, a National Top Ten park horse and knew the personality.  It took 1/2 hour to catch her and three long months before anyone could touch her body.  But with kindness and patience, Bill taught her to trust and soon was riding her.  This past year she showed in Country, Costume and Halter and is now in foal.  I finally bought t he mare for my husband who loves her dearly.  She is now in foal to anther horse listed on these page -- DJ Majestic.

Sierra - February 2002 looking quite muddy and unhappy. It took two weeks of quiet touching before we could get the mud off of her and another month before we could get her feet trimmed.
